I poached this video clip from an Undercurrent e-mail. This is a brilliant use of dubbing that same Hitler clip that's everywhere. The only better version was when the Giants eliminated the Cowboys from the playoffs a few years ago. This is all the more poignant because I just got my AOW cert over the summer.
A classic, and still hilarious.
Just outta curiosity, from which movie?
ROTFLMAO! That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time! Excellent! Thanks for posting.
DSAO -- with or without the silly* AOW
PS: In NAUI, before they caved into the peer pressure and started calling it AOW (and changing the name of what had previously been their very rigorous and lengthy "Advanced" course to their "Master" course), their second course was "Open Water II". I still have my old OWII cert card and, when not using my nitrox card [also NAUI], I use the OWII card on dive trips just for the fun of it. (Most of today's ops have never seen an OWII card and don't have a clue what it is, but it's a certification card with NAUI on it so they just look at it strangely, accept it, and move on to the next diver.)
*Edit -- added footnote to clarify what I meant by "silly": Having a relatively simple, light-weight second open water course itself is not "silly"; it is enjoyable and adds experience for divers. I liked my OWII and learned a few new things from it. What is silly (actually, ridiculous would be a better term in my opinion) is to call it "advanced". That is a gross overstatement/misrepresentation in my opinion.

I'm just here between dives unloading nitrogen, refilling tanks, and talking with buddies.
This year my club booked a trip to Curacao. The "dive operator" advised that divers needed the advanced certification card. When I found that additionally solo diving was absolutely forbidden anywhere on Curacao I changed my plans and re-visited Bonaire where I had two weeks (not one) of completely unfettered solo diving. Stick your AOW certification. I'll take AOW skills anyday. Experience/skill trumps any certification everyday, everytime. Even though I have the certs I'm stubborn enough that I refuse to use the cards. OW & Nitrox are the only ones I will show. You want to know what my skills are we can discuss it. The cards (including OW & Nitrox) mean NOTHING other than I paid and jumped through some hoops. Let me ask you - Have you ever talked to a "dumb as a stump" PhD?
