coz day 1 in the style of grunt take tres
Dive 1 Columbia 101 ft for 1 hr 1min. 78 Oceanic degrees.
Kind of overcast with the remains of an El Norte clearing out. A bit gloomy under the waves, and not a ton of fish life, a few approachable pairs of file fish, a few small rays, and a hawksbill. Ran into a traffic jam towards the end of the dive. One of the divers reminded me of me on a stationary bike. Still, the towering coral formations always put a smile on my face.
SI at Paradise beach? – the one with the wooden pier. 5 cruise ships in town, so the place was packed with pod people. Some of the scenery was not too shabby.
Dive 2 Punta Tunich 66 for 66 min. 78 Oceanic degrees.
A rollicking dive where the current ebbed and flowed. More fish action including 3 or 4 small hawksbills, and one portly one, some decent sized schools of grunts with accompanying hatchet fish in the little grottos, a decent sized eagle ray on the sand flats, one large green moray holed up under a ledge, and another free swimming which could have easily removed the dangly bits of one in our group had he been so inclined, and last but not least a deranged Bermuda chub attacked a Brit father and son in our group.
Headed downtown to have the battery in my Aqualand changed and to grab some lunch. The watch repair guy at Pama and I are practically on a first name basis at this point. Lunch at Casa Denis – tacos cochinitas.
To be continued…….

realized the puter has MS word, so I´ll compose there, save, and cut and paste. Unfortunately the formatting is falling by the wayside.
Nice Report Wayne, and thanks for taking the time to write it. Glad you like my format and use it. With regards to constantly getting logged out, unless you do something, is a PAIN IN THE BUTT. I complained and it was explained to me when this new version came up that it was a 'security feature' to prevent unauthorized access, which is baloney and I don't buy it. They said it was do-able through your browser, but with no instructions I haven't figured it out, yet. Most of us are bright enough to logout when finished.

Are the powers that be afraid some of the long lost traffic might return? Having some excellent diving, and the weather has gone from OK to great.
