How to judge current?
I have just under 500 dives and have no clue as how to gauge current in knots.
I see posts on D2D referencing xx knot current.
How is this determined?

It's rare but I've been in a current there strong enough to call a dive because of it.
In May there was a stiff current from The Cliff to Buddy Dive for two days and then it disappeared. -
